About us

An insulation contractor built around getting both halves right

CG Insulation works out of Ellenwood, GA, covering 122 cities across the metro. The business exists because insulation is usually sold in two disconnected pieces, and the gap between them is where jobs go wrong.

What we actually do

There are two ways to buy insulation. You can buy material and find someone to install it, or you can hire a crew and hope they bring the right product. Either way, somebody has to decide what belongs in that assembly — and if that somebody is you, you are doing the part of the job that needs the most experience.

We take that decision on. We look at the attic, the crawl space, the framing or the plans, work out what the assembly needs, source that material, and put a crew on the install. One conversation covers the whole thing.

For homeowners, that means you do not have to become an expert in insulation to get it done right. For contractors, it means the insulation scope stops being something you chase between a supply house and a labour crew.

How we work

What you get either way

Material and crew, arranged together

Most insulation problems are really two problems: picking the right product for the assembly, and having someone install it correctly. We handle both halves as one job, so there is nobody to coordinate between.

One point of contact

You deal with us. We deal with the material, the crew and the sequencing. That is the whole reason contractors and homeowners hand this scope over rather than managing it themselves.

Scoped before anything starts

We look at the attic, the crawl space or the plans first, then tell you what the job is and what it costs. No work begins without your OK on the scope.

Built around your schedule

On a jobsite, insulation sits between framing and drywall, and being late holds up everything after it. We size the crew to the schedule rather than promising a date and hoping.

Homeowner or contractor, the first step is the same — tell us what we are looking at.
